Who We Are

We are part of what the Nicene Creed describes as the:

'one holy catholic and apostolic church.'

  • 'holy' means separated by God and unto God, from the world. Though we are in the world, we are not of the world.

  • 'catholic' means universal. It should not be confused with the Roman Catholic Church. It means, rather, the Church that is spread over all the world.

  • 'apostolic' means that our existence derives from the teachings of the apostles of Jesus Christ, who proclaimed the gospel of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus who died for our sins and was raised the third day.

All who truly believe in Jesus as Lord & Saviour, through the mighty working of the Holy Spirit in our hearts, are part of the body of Christ, the Church.
